"The Hellenistic period began with the considerable expansion of the Greek world through the Macedonian conquest of the Persian empire and ended with Rome becoming the predominant political force in that world. This work provides a panoramic view of this world through the medium of ancient sources. It now comprises over three hundred texts from literary, epigraphic and papyrological sources which are presented in original translations and supported by introductory sections, detailed notes and references, chronological tables, maps, illustrations of coins, and a full analytical index."

The Hellenistic World from Alexander to the Roman Conquest

Judeo-Christianity is defined as religious writings, beliefs, values, and traditions, whereas Greco-Romans are defined as the development of arts, symbols, technological  innovation of the Roman Empire.

According to Judeo-Christian, self-worth comes from God, however, Greco-Romans believed that dignity comes from intelligence.

Greco-Romans supported laws made by citizens, whereas, Judeo-Christians supported laws made by God.

The Greco-Romans focused more on the establishment of reason and laws, whereas Judeo-Christians focused on the idea of humanity and doing good to all.

Greco-Roman was based on polytheism- belief in many gods, whereas Judeo-Christian was based on monotheism- belief in one god.

Both supported the development of democracy.

Both experienced separation of Church and State.

Both focused on laws that apply to everyone, and display the choice of right and wrong.

Greco-Romans believed that intelligent people are superior, wheres, Judeo-Christian supported the idea that all people were equal.
